Colours

Had a lovely walk around Wymeswold with Andy this evening. Explored the fields and lanes around here - it’s lovely. I stupidly left my ISO on 1600, so the pics were all grainy as anything, but this one was still a keeper. Technically it’s probably a bad picture of something good, but hey ho, I can but try.

Technical details: f/13, iso 1600, 1/160s, handheld

So it’s not just me who shoots for the best part of a day before realising I’ve been using the settings from last nights party?
Have you looked into noise reduction software? Having tried their free trial I plumped for Neat Image, although others, like noise ninja, are just as well regarded. The results are pretty stunning, especially if you’ve only used the native Photoshop gadget before.
Anyway, you have a great eye and refreshingly humble approach. keep up the good work.

    Howdy - ta :)

I’ve tried a few, aye. I quite like the painterly effect you get with Noise Ninja if you whack it up really high. I use that a fair bit because the most pictures I take nowadays are inside using a fast lens on high iso, of family and stuff.
