Autumn in Queens Park, Loughborough

I’ve been down to the park a couple of times recently in the hope of getting some nice photographs - I’ve failed miserably each time - until I managed this one today, which is the first I really like.

The autumn colours have been looking so good that I really wanted to capture them, but all my compositions have ended up being distinctly uninspiring. I was ambling around after bothering the birds in the aviary when I spotted this, and had a go.

Technical info: ISO 200, f/11, hand held 3 shot HDR processed in photomatix pro
